After payment, the package should ship out within a few days.

I'm going to move by the end of the month and I'm planning on ordering the DK2 after I get back my deposit.

Te email that I received, said that it typycally takes 2 to 4 business days to be shipped after the credit card has been charged.
It´s been six business days for me and my status hasn´t changed, should I begin to worry?

my paypal account has been charged 1 day later. so may i expect something in the near future? i don't think so :)

Paying with paypal is different, according to the FAQ section:

A: Pre-ordering an Oculus Rift Development Kit 2 will reserve your place in line for when we begin shipping.

If you are paying by credit card, you will see a temporary "authorization hold" on the full balance of your purchase, including taxes and shipping. After the card verifies the funds, the authorization hold will drop off and a charge for $50 (per unit ordered) will be processed. If you are using a Visa/Mastercard Debit Card (tied to your checking account), please make sure you have the funds available for entire purchase price to cover the temporary authorization hold.

If you choose to pay with PayPal, we will charge the full amount when you place the pre-order. Either way, you will pay the same total amount before we ship your development kit out to you.

You only get the 350 dollars charged from your credit card once your rift is about to be shipped, and according to the email you receive afterwards, it takes 2 to 4 business days to be shipped, which hasn´t happened in my case.
