speed of turn display on and off

How fast can Oculus turn it's displays on and completely off (no light at all)?
I would like Oculus to blink in a speed at least 10 times per second. Is that possible?

    I don't believe you can turn the device on or off programmatically.

    Unless you mean to talk about low persistence, but that is only enabled when in 75Hz refresh rate.

    But I don't need to turn of and on whole device, just the displays....
