Standalone Rift Inject for all games possible?

What do you want here? VorpX or Tridef for free? Tough luck, but nobody is stopping you to make an alternative for free.
Adding a wrapper driver of this kind to the OVR SDK? Hell no. There are more important issues and besides I wouldn't want it even if there were manpower to do it. If that kind of mechanism is natively supported many devs would choose the lazy way and not building the software with VR in mind and brand it as "Rift enabled".
