Stereoscopic playback on Gear VR
I'm using a Gear VR2 and a Samsung S6 to watch my 360 videos in both stereoscopic and regular format.
When I use VR player to watch the 360 stereoscopic videos on a Google Cardboard, it works fine.
However, when I play them via the oculus ap on the Gear Vr, the panoramic stitches just play as one huge sphere side by side or top and bottom. I am using the Oculus naming convention seen here:
https://support.oculus.com/hc/en-us/art ... 360-Videos
Basically, the naming convention does nothing. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there another way to play back stereoscopic videos using the Gear VR?
Thanks!

- AnonymousYou can put them in MilkVR.
Create a MilkVR folder in the root directory and place files in their. Use the same type of naming or use 3dh.mp4 to signify side by side stereo. - ErikCarettaHonored GuestIt should work with the correct naming. Just make sure to use "Oculus 360 Videos" app, and not "Oculus Videos". This could be the reason: I suspect "Oculus 360 Videos" app is not installed by default in all models.
