Sync cables gopro hero 3
Hi,
Who has experience with the 3dguy´s sync cable?
I'm looking for a solution for shooting 3d video with the latest gopro's for viewing inside the rift and it's need to be as close to perfect as possible.
Hope someone knows what to do, people on the internet says different things and use different methods, but is there a way that will work most easy and best?

- mediavrProtegeDont bother. Sell your Gopros if they are not the 3+ Black (or get the forthcoming Black or Silver 4 models) and get the Dual Hero System and two of those cameras.
- uvflyerHonored GuestWhy shouldn´t I bother? Doesn't it work?
The gopro 3D has a way to narrow IPD to have proper depth for the purposes I want to use it for. Not only close up stuff.
I certainly want to do it with two hero 4's, but who knows how long we have to wait for a proper 3D system to come out except the 3D function the hero 4 might have (2 lenses on one sensor?).
Already have one hero 3+ black - mediavrProtegeThe sync with 3dguy is not accurate. You need scripts on the cameras. You need to specify shot duration on the scripts. The Dual Camera System can be tweaked to get different separations.

" New bacpacs (marketing!), and compatible with the HERO dual 3d system (probably same HERO3+ case)" - uvflyerHonored GuestOk thank you for replying!
I've watched some of your youtube videos: I guess you shot this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhvcgDy_LWg with that 90mm seperation system? I can not watch this at all in my DK2, gives me massive eyestrain and double vision feeling.
I didn't have any problem with this one though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KYHA4azHPg
What is the difference between them? - mediavrProtegethe first is LR the second is RL (crosseyed)
- uvflyerHonored GuestAh like that. But the first one is shot with 90mm seperation as well?
- mediavrProtegeThe first is 90mm, the second is 45mm
