Turn ofd controller still not a thing? (via settings)

I'm using quest to play Steam VR games. Many of them are keyboard and mouse (meaning the Quest controller aren't good) with VR support. I use a nonVR controler (xbox) with keyboard keys binding ti bypass such issue while still having the VR experience

However, the Quest controler are still active, so of course i keep seeing hands or what the games shows them as. And i tryed to remove left controler from Oculus Link PC app, or not touch it at all, randomly it reconnects and stay (the only bypass is remove the battery before this...) 

I know that physical all you van do is remove the batteries. But what about software wise? Is there an option to deactivate them?
