Unity Free and Dk2

I think this has been asked before and I think it is seen as a possible no no..but I want to only use Unity with DK2 for personal use, nothing commercial at this stage.. Is there a way to e.g. use the...

In my view it really sucks to be forced to use Unity Pro, it assumes you'll be making a commercial game/software?

Unfortunately that is the case. There was a workaround posted (in the Unity subforum) but it runs slow and was for the DK1 SDKs. A lot of people have gone over to UE4 due to it's more attractive pricing model. I'm hopeful that Unity will announce something similar for Unity5 or else they're going to lose a lot of customers.



Yep, head over to UE4, you will find a lot of us there, we´ve moved for this reason :geek:
