Vertigo / nausea and making it bearable..

I was curious.. Live action 360 video content VS computer generated completely stable content. Which makes the easiest for viewing... Lets say I skydived with a 360 stereo camera on and its shaky.. (because your brain is used to it.) Vs Stabilizing it so you can look around without the shake? Which would your brain register as more natural if it hasn't done it before leading to a better experience while devving. I've read when trying to make something to inhuman that it gets oozy. This is a tough one for me. I would love opinions on this.

    I like what Microsoft Research has been doing for its hyperlapses, and there was a video + reddit discussion on this recently here. It certainly *looks* good, but won't know whether it's weird or not until I try it.

    It needs to be stable. What ever is happening to the skydiver's head, if the viewer's head isn't moving, being buffeted by air, accelerating and decelerating etc. then it will feel bad.
