10 years agoVery simple 0.8 SDK tutorial
I think this is about the most simple way/tutorial to get the minimal amount of useful information from your rift using the latest (0.8SDK):
https://github.com/GitHubUsername1/Mini ... tion-0.8.x
It's an updated version of this:
https://github.com/dleen/Minimal-Oculus ... ster/MinOc
which I found very useful but it's using an older SDK.
I have no relation to the author, I hope it's ok to reproduce some of the original guide.

I'd also recommend checking Oculus Room Tiny that comes with the SDK. It's very simple but shows how to do rendering and other key features you'd need for a full application. - mattnewportProtegeIn a similar spirit, I've put up a slimmed down, single file version of the Oculus Room Tiny demo for D3D11 up on my github: https://github.com/mattnewport/OculusRoomReallyTiny
