Viewing L+R images with red + blue glasses
Hi there!
I have a 3D 360°*180° panorama image (one L panorama, one R panorama), that I can view with VR Player in side by side mode. If I had an Oculus Rift Dev Kit, I could check how the image looks in 3D. Sadly I don't :?
So I would like to "emulate" the Rift by using simple red + blue glasses I bought from eBay. Is there a way to display the two panoramic images (L+ R) overlayed as an anaglyph image? So that I can get a 3D effect on my 2D monitor?
Of course I would have to look around by using the mouse, but that would be ok ;)

- j1vvyHonored GuestI say it is a bug in VRPlayer thinking that anaglyph is an effect instead of a viewing option.
This works to watch Over/Under or SideXSide with anaglyph
Basically first you have to lie and say the footage is mono then turn on Anaglyph and set to Side X Side.
For anaglyph glasses:
Media -> format -> Mono
---------> projection -> Sphere
---------> Effect -> Anaglyph
Device -> Layout -> Mono
----------> Distortion -> None
---------->Tracker -> Mouse
Tools->Plugins->Effects->Anaglyph
----------> Stereo mode -> Side X Side
---------->Anaglyph type -> Red-Blue
Tools->Plugins->Projection
----------> Horizontal coverage: 1
----------> Vertical coverage: 1 - VanKurtHonored GuestHi,
thanks for your reply. I had some troubles following your instructions though. Especially the last step was something I could not figure out. Which version of VR Player are you using?
Nevertheless I set everything up as far as I could. But the result seems to be messed up. The red and blue images are totally misaligned (like shifted around 180° or something).
Any more hints? - j1vvyHonored GuestSorry about the last step I was copied the setup from notes on an incorrect project. Set Width and Height to 1
Assuming you have a single file that has two images that are either arranged in an Over/ Under or Side by Side.
Then Tools->Plugins->Effects->Anaglyph | Stereo mode, needs to match the way it is arranged.
