When dev's release some thing and max traffic limits access.

Ok so just one of those obviously questions that hits you and then you want to post and find out the reason some one has not already fixed the issue.


Ok so a DEV works on an excelent project, lets have an example:

Thats not acceptable, sure the author should have mirrors but even more important than that is that Oculus should have an excelent submission for peer review process and also provision of download capablity not on pair with the apple store of course but if there is a florishing eco system that is just getting started were is the fostership of suitable deployment platforms of demos, betas, full games.


I am not an expert in this but im just sitting here wanting to download Solar System Explorer - DK1 release - [DK2 Beta] and I cant but thankfull my mind is ticking over and Im thinking it should be some ones job to at least provide the option for Dev's to communicate and partiipate in their offerings and "HELP?", Oculus should be trying to get the DEV community to upload to "their servers", their platforms, their storage NOW, not in 5 years, where is the setting of the seeds and training of the devs to deploy in hand with Oculus now.


That might sound all stupid when the basics of what IM sayhing here is i cant download a demo package from google drive because the traffic has been overused but then should there be excuses or problems in ANY area of Virtual reality.


Cant we have a dedicated deployment platform, a super libary of every thing assets, meshes, scripts, pod casts, community aspects.

Do it now not in 5 years please.

I want to download Solar System Explorer - DK1 release - [DK2 Beta] and I should be able to do that from oculus.com some other stupid vendor that is impeding my progress with this technology, its irating.

Please have at least one person at Oculus just purely looking into Any HOLD BACKS about VR, I should not need to be making this post some one paid $150k a year should already have thought of it and delivered an future thinking stance on it, and its down to money that is false as the community woudl ship in for some kind of area like I have said im sure.

Ill go back to that thread and second some one else who is also asking for a mirror....

Please people if you see some thing stupid or an issue post it because never can you just assume some one else will see it and fix it.
