When is the SDK with full DK2 support going to be released?
I was just wondering when the SDK with full DK2 support is going to be released. I suspect it should be already ready. It would be nice to have that before people start receiving their DK2s.

- mattboyHonored GuestI talked to the Oculus guys about this last night at the OCVR meetup and how for a company that doesn't like to give deadlines this was a pretty real (and looming) one. They obviously didn't have a release day for me, but are aware of the concern and are working extremely hard to have something for DK2 developers. I would be surprised if we didn't have a newer SDK version by the time the first dev kits arrive.
As far as "full" support though, I personally wouldn't expect it to be perfect right off the bat. Welcome to the joys of pre-launch hardware development. - cyberealityGrand ChampionThe current SDK will work with DK2, albeit in a limited sense. For full compatibility you will need the upcoming release. I don't have an exact release date, but we expect it to be available when people start receiving their DK2s in the mail.

There's no camera driver in the 0.3.2 SDK, which means no positional tracking yet. The SDK falls back to an integrated head/neck-model, though. - cyberealityGrand Champion

You would get a basic experience with DK1 features at 1080p. Meaning head-tracking and rendering. I don't believe the DK2 features are fully supported yet (low persistence, positional tracking, etc.). - xhonziHonored GuestWill the Unity Integration package get updated at the same time as the SDK, or will it lag behind by days/weeks?
- RazTOOHonored GuestI am also curious about Unreal Engine 4 integration. If it won't be supported from day one - it's not that big of a deal as it will get sorted out fairly quickly i believe. Have some thing going on in UE4 and my DK1 is OK for the moment :D But having problems reading things -for ex. HeadsUpDisplay.
