Why does killing the oculus processes from Task Manager require a repair install?

I own a Rift and Vive, I can't play Pool Nation without oculus taking over and making the vive game unplayable ..so I kill the oculus processes and relaunch it, but after doing so oculus won't launch anymore. :(

  • You can turn off the Oculus service in Windows (services.msc) and it should be safe to enable/disable without corrupting anything.
