Why only 2 announcements ??

My guess is that since getting more funding OVR has an actual PR department. Not everyone reads the forums so using it to announce new features would be wasted effort. I wouldn't expect anything else to show up there unless it's announcement specifically related to forum functionality, and even then they're more likely to put it in a global sticky like the one about how new users can create threads.
