Will fly in a talented Oculus developer to discuss startup
I was originally looking in Ohio, but I realize I may need to cast a wider net to find the talent I'm looking for.
I have been in the dental sales field for 11 years, and I am currently an equipment sales rep for one of the largest dental equipment and supply companies in the country. I have contacts at the other 2 big players as well. You can view my LinkedIn profile here: https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=80502938
I am looking to have some initial meetings with an Oculus Rift developer, an expert in dental office design/layout, and a 3D Autocad designer (I already have these individuals picked out).
The idea is to bring 3D autocad dental office floorplans into the VR world, allowing dentists to enter and virtually tour their new dental office before ground is broken. I work in dental office design now, and have mentioned this concept to countless dentists who agree that this needs to happen. Offering this technology as an initial exclusive to a large dental distributor would give that company a huge advantage over the competitors, and would be worth a fortune in rights/licensing.
This would eventually expand outside of dental, but given my connections and experience, I believe this is where we could have an immediate impact.
I am looking to form a team of partners for this project who believe in and understand the need and potential profits from licensing this product to the largest dental dealers in the country.
Please send me a PM with your contact information if interested in a non-gaming application of this technology. I would love to kick off with an initial meeting of the 4 of us and see where it goes.
Sincerely,
Matt Fiske
