Windows 8.1 Modern Apps / WinRT support?

Is it possible to use the Oculus DK2 from a Windows 8.1 WinRT / Modern App? I got a WinRT component using OVR compiled + linked and ovr_Initialize() works but ovrHmd_Create(0) returns a NULL pointe...

Thanks for confirming cybereality.

Would be great to know this for sure.
Also to know if there's something planned along those lines? WinRT and Modern apps might be nice to support due to the ease of deployment through the Windows Store.
