Would it be possible to get prescription type fittings?

not sure, but, What would happen if you wanted to allow others to use your rift?
you would need to be changing them all the time.

but when oculus gets so good parents would buy the whole family an oculus then at that point it would be better to have custom tailored glass eye fittings

I know for sure that was hasn't been invented would be with this drive. People who aren't billionaires would and millionaires made easy with this foundation like the Apple.

Im considering laser eye surgery if the state of my current eyes dont agree with VR HMDs. I bloody hate hospitals and all that but i would take out a loan and put myself though that nightmare for a better VR experience.
