XBox 360 Wireless Controller synced to Mac
Hello,
I understand that if you have a wireless receiver Dongle hooked to a Windows PC, the XBox controller should "just work" (being Microsoft). For a Mac, you have to download a driver from here:
http://tattiebogle.net/index.php/ProjectRoot/Xbox360Controller/OsxDriver
And (depending on the games) buy a gamepad configuration app off of the Mac App Store.
Has anyone had any success with this configuration as an input device for the Oculus? Right now, I'm looking to either order a wireless receiver or a more compatible controller.
Thanks,
- Scott

- lmaceleightonHonored GuestIf you have an Xbox controller, then I would give it a shot, I found this tutorial : http://www.imore.com/how-hook-xbox-360-controller-your-mac , Now that out of the way...go buy a MAC compatable controller, it will be just as good. While the xbox controller work well with PC, and look nice, that is about it, they are no more functional than Playstation controllers really except in shape.
