Hi! I have the solution to this! You CAN âpaintâ or âtextureâ trimesh shapes. There are two ways to do it. If youâre just trying to use the paint feature in HW hereâs how you can change the color of a trimesh shapes:
1. Pull out the shape you want.
2. Go into the properties of that shape and select âAttributesâ.
3. Open your build menu, go to âpaintâ and select your desired color.
4. Go back to your properties menu and scroll to the bottom. Youâll see where you can add your color (it will be white by default) add your color to that area the same youâd color a block.
5. Right below that youâll see âTintâ, drag that slider to the right to make it â1â. Youâll see your color change. So exciting, right?
6. Below that youâll see âBrightnessâ. Adjust that slider to your desired brightness. The lower the number, the darker the color. The higher the number, the lighter the color.
7. Close your properties panel and enjoy your new color!
The second way is to use Blender to bring in textures and then apply the texture that way. Iâm unfamiliar with this process. But I know some people in the program has texture files they are sharing as well as worlds with textures blocks. Good luck!
