Cannot shell into Quest Device, Cannot ADB root
Good Morning.
I'm trying to shell into my device to retrieve some logs from a developmental UE4 build, but I've discovered I can't seem to root into the device.
Trying to navigate anywhere yields only Permission denied.
Developer Mode is engaged.
Anyone have any insight?
Thanks

- ryan_connors1Honored GuestI should mention the oculus 2.0 adb drivers are installed as well
- motorsepStart PartnerWhy on Earth do you want to root into it !?
Logcat is your friend for getting logs. - ryan_connors1Honored GuestBasic other uses such as verify package installation, verify structure of non log files that should be generated, etc. I could pull each one, but I don't recall the suffix of each file. It seems like it'd be useful to have root access to a development kit.
- mattbenicProtegeWe'd like root access as well to be able to permanently enable wireless adb access on our dev devices. I haven't had much luck finding a way either.
