Can't verify Oculus Developer Account
I wanted to Turn on developer mode for my account, but every time I try it will tell me to verify my account. I didn't have a payment method and Phone Number Verification wasn't working so I got the Authenticator App and connected it which did work. The only problem is when I go to create an organization, it still tells me to verify my account when I already have 2FA. I've reloaded and don't know what to do. Can anyone help me?

I'm having the exact same problem. Did you ever find a solution for this?
I did! it never worked with a Authenticator app, but using my Mobile number did it in my case. I hope that it works for you too

Thank you for the link to the Developer Forums, but it was from searching those forums that I found this thread. Is there another location where an answer can be found to the issue of being unable to add a phone number for verification? It appears this functionality on the website has been broken for some since at least November.
Still doesnt work, added 2 factor authentication and it wont let me add org.

I figured out why it wasn't working for me, if this helps anyone.
2FA only works to verify if you use the 'Text Message' and put in your phone number, not the Authenticator App option. I hate that they don't specify this anywhere, but there it is.Thx, I started to assume the same. But that functionality (using phone number) is down on the website. It just gives a generic message about a technical problem.

Same issue, i am a game dev and i need to enable Dev mod, i already enable two factor auth, so it should work, but i cant.
Same problem. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Is anyone from Meta actually aware of this?
I already HAVE two-factor authentication, and yet it doesn't work. If I try to add the phone number as 2FA, as somebody suggested, I get the error message that you can see in the screenshot above. This is beyond frustrating and it's incredible that this has been going on for months.
Has anyone actually gotten this issue fixed? I'm going nuts trying different web browsers, trying to get it to actually accept my **bleep** number, or realize that the 2FA autenticator on my phone should be enough.

We also advise we're being friendly in our forums. I can assure you our team is working hard to get you back on track. However, you need to get connected with the correct tools.
