Meta Quest 3, UE5.2 Oculus: Which versions Android SDK/NDK, build tools, command-line tools, cmake?

Does anyone have documentation on correct versions to use when deploying from Unreal Engine 5.2 Oculus branch to Meta Quest 3 for the Android SDK, Android NDK, Android Build-Tools, Android Command-Line tools and cmake?

What about Unreal-specific settings? Anything I should know there too?

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

  • Ok to answer my own question, SDK 32, NDK 25.1, command line tools 8.0 is what you need.

      Do you know for UE5.1 with meta quest 3?

      How and where can you know that?

       Hi! I'll get following error if i want to deploy a testlevel to meta quest 3. Maybe im using the wrong Java Version? I looked for the correct sdk, but couldn't find it. Any ideas? Thank you

  • I´m a little bit lost. Is the Setup Proccess the same for Q2 and Q3? Mainly, are we still bound to use Android Studio 4.0? Because Q3 runs on Android 12, however, my Android Studio 4.0 only supports up to Android 10.

      Yeah, set up process is the same. Just use the latest oculus integration plugin if you're on unity, Meta xr plugin on unreal. Suggest using latest from oculus branch of UE 4.27. Branches for later unreal versions don't support oculus voice, etc

  • Hello I'm having issue launching the basic VR project I get this errors.

    LogPlayLevel: Error: UAT: ERROR: Stage Failed. Missing receipt 'D:\Unreal\Project\Starter_521\Binaries\Android\Starter_521.target'. Check that this target has been built.

    Do you have any good step by step tutorial for the setup of android and everything, I think I did it properly but doesn't looks like it ðŸ˜¥
