Oculus + Air Link causes computer crashes when the headset disconnects from WiFi.
As usual, it's hard to pinpoint exactly where the issue originates due to all the handoffs between apps. My Quest 2 is connected via Air Link through the Oculus App, to SteamVR, which is then running...

I'm also seeing this problem with the hardwire link cable. This was not exclusive to Steam VR either. Anytime the headset went to sleep it crashed the PC it was connected to. I also have a 3080 Ti 64gb of ram and and i7 12700H. These issues should NOT be happening on either system mentioned. These are clearly VR ready and capable systems where the Oculus is the problem due to the fact Meta just purchased the company and did not take the time to develop their own systems and platform in a meaningful way.
I should have really taken the fact Zuckerberg thought it was ok to release half body avatars as a warning this system was half baked all the way around, but the price point was too low and the headset's hardware seemed too good compared to the older headsets on the market.
My best advice in this situation is hope Meta, fixes this, don't expect them to , but buy a PSVR2 when it comes out if you have the money and after the VR community has figured out how to get it to link to the PC with 3rd party software. I can bet it will be LESS janky than this quest BS.
Issues like this are exactly the reason Facebook became a laughing stock when they changed to meta, everyone saw this coming when you buy things you don't make yourself or understand and meta will keep making crap products like this the more of the metaverse they buy and don't develop, which will probably ruin the idea of it and its market.
