Oculus Platform VR hoops Matchmaking example not

I did a build and installed on 2 devices. Then tried the VR hoops example with two different players.

I wasn't able to get connected to a match with the buttons in the game.

I have an app id in my oculus settings.

Is that example suppose to work and find a match?
