Quest updates to Oculus Store build while I'm trying to run a test APK

Here's my use case:

1. I need to test unreleased changes for a live app, so I sideload an APK using MQDH.
2. I launch the APK on the Quest.
3. My headset seemingly begins updating the APK to the current live build while the APK is running.
4. The APK closes without reporting an error. My APK disappears from MQDH, and the test build listed in my library is replaced with the current live build.

This happens roughly 1/5 of the time I try to run a sideloaded APK. There doesn't appear to be an option to prevent the Quest from auto-updating builds, so I'm not sure how to resolve this.
