Turning off the avatar mirror "feature"
It seems many people got the avatar mirror feature in January, but I only got the update this month. I absolutely can't stand the mirror ruining the virtual environment. It feels less like a peaceful space to myself and more.... Tacky.
I'm hoping that the Quest team will see the complaints and make an option to turn the mirror and avatar feature OFF.
If anyone has the any knowledge on how to turn it off, I'd love to hear it. I dislike this feature pretty badly!

This! Please let me turn this avatar mirror off. It doesn't make me want to engage with the avatar store, it just makes me question whether I want to invest in a quest 3 if this is the type of mandatory cr@p I'll be subjected to.
I think it's especially jarring when you don't yet have an avatar configured. I spend a lot time in my dev Test User accounts, which I don't bother configuring an avatar for, and the mirror really pushes the silver surfer grey body vibe...
I agree with you. Now that in v54 there are mirrors in more enviroments the option to disable the mirror will be appreciate. Also an option to move the mirror in the area (when enabled) will be great, because in some spots it is useless and in other spots it block the view of my favourites environments.
