Using multiple Oculus with the same account for teaching

Hi,
I am an Italian teacher. We purchased 20 Oculus Meta Quest 2 for teaching. We created an account and used the APP to pair all 20
Oculus. However, we would like to give students the opportunity to create an Avatar for each Oculus, but we are unable to.
How can we allow each student to manage the avatar independently? Is it possible? Thank you Michela

  • Each student must create their Meta account, and associate it as a secondary account with the display.

  • Hi,
like Gabriel said, each User needs its account. The accounts are not to be shared.

The other option you have if you have money throwing around is to use Quest for Business, but here you're paying monthly for each device, and it is not recommended for education. But with that, you would have better control over the quests and the corresponding users on that device.

There is Quest for Education currently planned by Meta, but it's not out yet. This might allow you to switch accounts more easily for the students, and it would not be device depended.

If you want the students to not have their Quest but have them switch it around, good luck, then you would need to add each account to each device and that would take hours.
