V54 is giving many of us Network lag & stutter, especially in Virtual Desktop
Many of us have issues with V54, giving us network spikes and stutters. It is most noticeable in Virtual Desktop, sometimes in Airlink. I'm not on PTC, and V51 before this wasn't giving any issues. Not a user error I've already Factory Resetted my Quest 2 and the issue is still there. To be clear, nothing has changed from my setup in V51 to V54, only that this issue came up in V54. Please fix this for the future updates! Thanks
Hi everyone, there's a fix rolling out to everyone on v54 and v55 right now which helps even out performance on certain apps and games that are sensitive to changes in network latency. This should help improve your network lag with Virtual Desktop and similar issues we've seen with Air Link. All you need to do is reboot your headset and you should get the update.
On v55, the update is in build 5004863.3140.330 but for v54 it won't change the build number.

Same here. Using airlink. Worked fine with v51. Started to see problems v53. v54 unusable.

Same here, I can recreate the issue on the demand and it show latency spikes/frame drops so if you look left and right quickly or up and down it triggers the out of frame view and latency increases, frame drops creates massive stutter. Nothing changed other than the update.

Also I cannot recreate in games installed locally on the device.

Sorry to hunk my own horn, but you should try A\VROS

Its performance optimized, and works better than the oculus dash.
For me, Its the only software that doesn't lag when using the UBS-C cable on my quest 2
