6 years agowhat does it take for good Art assets in VR game
Context I have experience in making 2D games mostly, but of course, I'm trying my hand at quest development.
What does it take to make or know great graphics in VR if you don't have any experience with creating excellent art unity assets for VR?
To be more detailed, what to look for or where do I start. I have a little experience with Blender but not for making VR assets.

- MikeFTrusteeA foundational understanding of game art in general is what you should be focusing on. The specifics of how to make things look good in VR is a very broad topic and usually specific to the project you have in mind. I'd suggest just learning the basics first then you'l start to understand why certain techniques dont work well in VR. Best resource that i've ever had for everything game art specific is www.polycount.com
Check out their wiki for insight into each sub section of the art medium http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/Category:Discipline
