Can't open ODH 1.2.0 on Mac OS - Apple cannot check it for malicious software

I'm getting an error attempting to open ODH On MacOS Big Sur 11.0.1. The error, "“Oculus Developer Hub.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information."

I did not see this with the previous version, so it looks like something is missing. Did the ODH team correctly sign the app?

I've worked around the problem by allowing ODH to open from the System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General... Allow...

    Hi! I got Big Sur 11.2.2 and haven't yet faced such a problem, mb you need update to the latest version of MacOS ?

    update: I've used latest odh 1.5.0
    long time passed since u posted a problem 🙂 sry just noticed
