11 years ago0.4.1 & DK1 - Distortion is wrong - inverted the eye relief
I have tried the current Darkfield build on my old DK1 and have experienced a lot of eye strain until I found out that the distortion was wrong. Inverting the eye reflief slider in the Config Utility fixed the wrong distortion.
I have not tested it with 0.4.2 yet.

- Jedi2016Honored GuestI wasn't aware that it was different from how the DK1 did it (I didn't have one), I just looked at the Rift itself when making the adjustment to figure out which direction was in and which was out. Don't look at the picture, just look at the part that says "In" and "Out", and compare that to where the lenses are physically placed. Easy peasy.

What I meant was: if you are runnign a game which is built with the 0.4.1 SDK, you ahve to invert your eye relief setting, e.g. if it was at "in", it has to be set to "out" for the correct distortion
