360 Video File No longer Playing at 60 FPS (GearVR)

... I just checked the video out on my Older S6 which still has the Original 360 Video player and interface.

Comparing the 2 devices

sm-g920i - Runs Great - Older 360 Player
sm-g920f - Runs Terrible - Latest 360 Player

Check the specs on the hardware they are identical, which suggest this is a software performance issue...
