AudioPluginOculusSpatializer and Virtual Reality SDK Oculus failed to initialize

After starting an empty project and importing the Oculus Integration, I have been getting the  "XR: OpenVR Error! OpenVR failed initialization with error code VRInitError_Init_PathRegistryNotFound: "...
