Can't export Direct to Rift

Hello everyone. I have been creating a scene in Unity that was exported from a C4D file. I have been testing it using the Direct to Rift build that comes straight out of Unity so far. Yesterday, I noticed my builds only export as the extended desktop versions without the Direct to Rift EXE. I am fairly new to this and am curious if there was a player setting I messed up or an option I have to re-enable to continue building Direct to Rift files. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

  • It should work as long as you're building from Windows. Is there an error in the console output?

    Make sure "Optimize Builds for Rift" is enabled in Edit > Preferences > Oculus VR.

    If that doesn't fix it, try copying OculusUnityPatcher_* from Assets/OVR/Editor to MyApp_DirectToRift.exe.
