Daikon Forge with Oculus
Has anyone been able to get Daikon Forge GUI working with the Oculus? I have been having trouble with it. Might just be possible that it's not possible.

- SteveTackHonored GuestYou'll need to render the UI to a render texture, which you can certainly do with DF-GUI. You can then use that texture on geometry in your 3D scene. That does require Unity Pro, but since you need Unity Pro for OR anyway, that sort of works itself out.
Now the render texture technique is fine for read-only elements or elements you're manipulating with arrow keys or gamepads, but mouse cursor interaction is tougher. The good news is that a feature for 3D world mouse cursor interaction (think Doom 3) is planned for DF-GUI some time in the future:

I switched over to DF last month and am very happy with how it performs. Thanks for the info.
