Deferred Rendering Bug

When using deferred rendering the camera views are upside-down. Is this a known bug or are there any work arounds?

  • Did one camera turn white? Does this only happen in a small game window, if so try scaling it up or running full screen.
I had a similar issue before and solved it by scaling the game view window.

I don't have any of the issues you've mentioned, it all works perfectly except both views are upside-down, when I put it back to forward rendering they are the right way up again.
  • Ok I didn't experience that at all, but when I was playing around with deferred lighting it was with an older version of the SDK more than a week ago. Due to anti-aliasing issues I had to abandon that rendering mode for now :(

  • The upside down thing will happen when enabling MSAA while using deferred rendering. We will fix it in an upcoming release, however MSAA does not work with deferred rendering anyway, so you should not need to use it. It is better to use image-based AA as a full-screen image effect. However you will need this fix before adding that to the cameras:

Anyway, there are still some major issues with deferred lighting (shadows, etc.) so it's recommended you use forward rendering until we can work out the bugs.

    Hope that helps.
