Detect if Global Menu Currently Open (Rift)
I need to disable interaction when the user opens/is navigating the global oculus menu (from pressing the oculus logo button on the remote) on a PC Rift build.
Is there any way of detecting if the global menu is currently open? There seems to be a way on GearVR in the moonlight API but I can't find a matching version for PC builds.
Thanks,
Sam

- srowlandsExplorerHi vrdaveb,
Thanks for your quick reply!
Unfortunately we want to handle removing your headset differently to entering the global menu, both of which trigger vr focus loss, is there a way to differentiate between the two?
Thanks,
Sam - vrdavebOculus StaffSorry, at the moment there is no way to distinguish between the health & safety warning, universal menu, or another (sideloaded) app. We only recently added the ability to keep an app running while it is unfocused (by checking the Run in Background box).
- srowlandsExplorerOkay, at least we know for certain now, I think we can put in a work around for this issue to tide us over, thanks for your response!
