DK1 with Unity Always crash

I own a DK1

I have played several demos using the DirecToRift applications wotking perfectly.

Now I want to create my own demo on Unity using my DK1

I downloaded the latest "Unity 4 Integration"
I add the package to unity
Drag a Oculuscontroller to the scene
Build it
But then whenever I try to test it it crashes automatically.

I tried to recreate the Tuscany demo also to try to work from there.
I opened the "OculusUnityIntegrationTuscanyDemo" in Unity to create a new project
Built it again
But when I run that exe I just see for a few second the Tuscany house and then suddenly there is a message
saying that there are no sensors detected, and then que left part of the oculus screen gets dark with some kind of meny.

Can somebody guide me to fix this?
Do I need Unity pro to do this?

  • Specs

    Windows 8.1 pro 64 bit
Procesor Intel Core i7 @2.8 GHz
Graphic card AMD Radeon HD 5800
    Unity 4.5.5 free version

What I don't get is why I can play all the demos using the "DirectToRoft" applications icon but no my own.
There should be a couple of settings I need to change inside Unity but I have no clue which ones.

I also tried using the "Direct HMD Access from Apps" and "Extended Desktop to the HMD"
    But it crashes anyway
  • It could be related to the AMD Catalyst driver. Can you try using version 14.4?
