Does LensCorrection only work with rift plugged in?

Thanks for explaining this! I am developing without the Rift right now and I was wondering about the distortion in the OVR code not showing. My Rift should arrive soon so it will be a moot point, but I am almost done with my level one in the Rift game project! Hurrah for the RIFT and Unity!
