Errors when adding Netcode for GameObjects

  • Running Windows 11 23H2
  • Unity 6000.0.25f1
  • Start new project (Built-In Render Pipeline, not connected to Unity Cloud)
  • Install All-In-One SDK 71.0.0 from  the Asset Store (or just the Core SDK, same result)
  • Restart editor
  • Install Oculus XR Plug-in (or Open XR plugin, same result)
  • Install Netcode for GameObjects from Package Manager (2.1.1 and 1.11.0 give same result)
  • I get the following errors:

[Update] I previously stated that after restarting the editor the errors are gone, but this is not true. The errors return after restarting, pressing play, etc.

  • Also, as an additional note, when I use Netcode for Gameobjects 2.1.1, it is not recognized by the building blocks, as shown in the screenshot. If I downgrade to 1.11.0 the message goes away.

  • I opened a bug report today about this, cos I run into the same problem.

Unity 6.0.29f1, NGO 2.3.1 and Meta Movement SDK v74. As it seems it is only accepting NGO 1.7.1 (at least in my case) but downgrading the NGO is not really an option for me - so let us see, what the techteam can do.
