  • Ok, what i mean is i drag the OVR utilities package from the computer to the assets folder in my project in Unity itself. But say i want to delete it for some reason. So in Unity itself i select the OVR main folder( top in hierarchy of folders and just under the Assets folder) and delete it. Thta's when i get this message

    Failed to unload prefabs/GearVrController.prefab

I ignored it and restart Unity and reopen the project and all the OVR folder i deleted is back again. I don't know why.

Anyways, not a big problem, i can just create a new project if i don't want the OVR folder. But i was just wondering why i got that error about GearVrController.prefab

  • You welcome I'm using Unity 5.5.1f1   and aside from the error i've described, i'm wondering why i delete things such as OVR(utilities folder)  and they load back automatically without me doing anything.
Like i delete something and restart the project and that one thing i delete comes back again.

    This happens often.
