Friends List returned empty

I am using Unity 2018.4.7f1 and latest Oculus integration SDK till date. When I try to fetch the current logged in users friends list, it is returned empty. I have 8 oculus friends in my list as of now.

    Do your friends have your game in their library?
    Any platform requests made under your AppID are specific to that application so friends online actually means friends online in your game
