Game hangs when enabling Rift (SDK 0.4.4)
My game has a settings menu where the Rift option can be enabled, disabled. When this happens, the scene is reloaded. When rift mode is enabled, the Rift prefabs are instantiated into the scene- when not in Rift mode the scene is loaded without instantiating the Rift prefabs.
This started in 0.4.0 I think- it was working back when I was in 0.3.
If the game starts with the Rift setting enabled, everything works fine. If the game starts with Rift setting disabled- everything works fine. It even works fine in the editor. But in a build and when the scene is reloaded due to the setting change- it hangs. Goes to a black screen and never recovers.
Ideas?
Thanks!

- vrdavebOculus StaffTry renaming OVRManager.Start() to OVRManager.OnEnable(). If that doesn't fix it, can you provide output_log.txt?
- xhonziHonored GuestI'll give that a shot, thanks.
I should have said "hangs" instead of "crash" by the way. It doesn't actually crash, it just leads to a black screen.
Also should have said "in a build". It works fine in the editor. I've edited my original post to reflect the truth. Because truth. - xhonziHonored GuestThat seems to have done it!
WONDERFUL!
Why don't you put yourself down for a bonus?
