Hands not showing in controller mode

Hi all, 

 

I added the ovrcamerarig to my scene as per this guide:

I added the OVRhandprefab ynder the left and right anchors. 

 

Everything works fine for hand tracking, but when I pick up my controllers, the hand models disappear and I have no hands at all. 

 

Do I need to set something somewhere to keep the hand models visible when I switch to controllers?

  • Update... still no luck. But I've also noticed that even with the 'Controllers Only' option selected in the OVRCameraRig, I still get hand tracking occuring and no hands when I pick up the controllers. 

    Any help most appreciated...

  • Are the OvrControllerPrefabs in there? That's the mesh for those, the anchor is just that, positional.

  • Yeah,. I had tried the controller prefabs but it didn't work either. It's weird because even with it set to 'controllers only' hand tracking was still occuring. Anyway, I found a stack that mentioned adding the localavatar to the OVRCameraRig. I'm sure I never did this in the past, but anyway, it seems to have worked.
