Health and Safety Warning Glitch

I've finished a demo in Unity, and I'm ready to release it to the share section here, BUT the health and safety warning screen is glitching. If you look straight ahead at my canvas with the game title etc. you cannot see the health and safety warning. But if you look up, down, left or right, suddenly it appears. Almost shocking.
A. Anyone else run into this problem?
B. Is this glitchy warning good enough to distribute via share.oculus.com? I did nothing to interrupt the warning so I doubt I can fix it without mimicking a new one.

  • That doesn't sound right to me.

Any way you can share a video of the problem (for example via YouTube)?
  • I'll get you that video because I wanted to check this out anyway, I love marble labyrints and I've been wanting to try this out.

    edit:

actually I can't, it looks like both builds you put up are MAC builds and I don't have FRAPS for MAC

  • I couldn't replicate the issue on my computer (windows 7 64-bit, AMD hardware), it worked fine, both executable files in direct mode, I even tried extended mode, it was all good on my end. Maybe you can get a fraps trial and record what you are talking about, the trial will work for 30 seconds at a time.

(the health and safety warning was animated a lot smoother while not recording video)
  • Strange, but good news nonetheless. Thanks Molton. May I ask, if you did not use FRAPS, what did you use? It seemed to work just fine.

edit: Also, do you mind if I use your video for my game description? If I may, would you rather me link to your video, or download it and upload to my youtube? Thanks again for the help. Im going to try out your bird game, I'll leave a comment ;)
  • I used fraps, I'm saying if you could get it and make a video we'd see what you're talking about. You can use that video but it's pretty limited, it's kinda of a health and safety warning video.

It's video of your thing, of course you can use it :)

Fraps it is. I will try it out today, and hopefully get back with a vid of the glitch

and Thanks for the recommendation for fraps and permission to use that vid! Last software I used made for really choppy video. Can't remember what it was. We'll see how fraps does for me.
