Help w/ Global Fog - height changes when head tilts
Has anybody encountered this problem when using image effects>global fog?
In the first image you can see the actual height of the fog (thin gray line):
neutral.jpg
Whenever I tilt my head to the right it increases the height of the fog on only the left camera:
pivotR.jpg
And it does the same thing but in reverse for the opposite direction:
pivotL.jpg
Anyone have a clue on how to fix this?

- Felix12gHonored GuestDoes the image effect take the height of the camera into its calc? With the camera offset the one is higher than the other, so that'd be my guess.
If it turns out that's the case, see if you can point the effect at the height of the controller component that the cameras and children to. - boone188Honored GuestI would bet it's being caused by the effect not being able to handle the offset perspective matrix.
- vajra3dHonored GuestThanks for the help on this guys... I appreciate that. Looks like it's definitely not a simple fix like I'd hoped it might be. :|
- cyberealityGrand ChampionI can replicate this issue here. I will see if I can get someone to look into it.
- vajra3dHonored GuestCool... thanks for looking out cyber!
- AnonymousI am also having a global fog issue. I'm not exactly sure if this is the exact same issue or a different one. This problem does seem to occur due to the oculus though as it looks alright in editor. Notice how you can see the outline of where the fog should be in relation to other objects in my background, but how it is noticeably separated from that or those points. (Screenshot attached)
- cruncher3019Honored Guestrnally, I experienced the same problem as you. I suggest you check out this thread:

Any update on how to fix this issue? I'm having the same problem here... I'm using Dk1 + Unity Pro 4.5.5 - cyberealityGrand ChampionI just checked it and it looks to be fixed in Unity 5.
- darryldmpsHonored GuestI'm having the same issue, the global fog's height changes when I look up and down on the dk2. I'm using unity 5.2 and the native vr support, with Oculus utilities.
