Highlight controller model
Hello,
I managed to render the Oculus Quest2 model provided by
https://developer.oculus.com/downloads/package/oculus-controller-art/
Now I wonder how to highlight the individual buttons, please provide some hint or tutorial.
Thanks

Highlight just in a render on in game?
On the eps/svg files I just use Illustrator to colour the buttons.
If you're rendering from the FBX, just create multiple copies of the texture, colours the different parts in Photoshop and swap for each render.
For in app, that's a bit more tricky. I ended up importing the FBX into Blender and splitting apart the mesh so that I could target each button with Kronnect's HighlighterPlus (in Unity)

Hello,
Thanks for the reply.
Your approach definitely works, and also I found another way to achieve the same goal as well.

Nice. The vertex color idea is a good one 🙂
