How do I check to see if the touch controllers are imitated through script.

Hi

I'm integrating the Touch controllers but I'd like to test to see if people have them active or not so I can either attach the laser to the camera or the controller based on the result. I can't seem to work it out. 

Any advice? I kind of hoped that there would be something like Debug.Log(OVRTouchpad.TouchState) and it would return the State but I don't really know how this works.
