How do you get DK2 head tracking in Unity with the DK2 off?
Hello, the other day Unity was tracking HMD movement fine with the DK2 powered off, which is the way I like to do things a lot for testing. I'm not sure what I changed, but now when my DK2 is off Unity recieves no head tracking information and I have to turn it on, which isn't a big problem but I'd rather it stay off and I have to move unity and monodevelop over from the rift display because I have the rift set as my primary display. I have to go fishing for the taskbar to drag over and use the windows key+shift+arrow keys shortcut to move the windows over after selecting them on the taskbar. Does anybody know how exactly to get a powered off DK2 recognized and working from within Unity?
I'm thinking if the DK2 was in the orange light standby mode that might be good enough for Unity without having windows change the whole display setup on account of the DK2, is there a way to get the DK2 to turn on to standby mode and not full on? Thanks.
edit: last time I booted into windows the little orange light was lit only and the DK2 worked for me in Unity like the DK1 did. I often boot into Ubuntu to check mail and stuff before booting into windows. I guess it's better for me to boot right from windows from the power being off to get the results I want.
