How to create a persistent (always-on-top) floating window on Meta Quest 3?
Hello,
I am developing an application for Oculus Quest and I need to create a persistent floating window or overlay that remains visible on top of all other applications. The window should stay in a fixed position (e.g., the top-right corner) and be always accessible regardless of which VR application is running.
The primary goal is to have the window float in 3D space as an overlay, similar to how the Move app or the OVR Metrics Tool functions, where it stays on top of any other app. I will later control its content (potentially a web browser). For now, I need guidance on how to create this type of persistent window or layer in VR on Oculus Quest.
I'm looking for any tips, APIs, or tools that can help with creating such an overlay. Ideally, I'd like to use either native Android solutions or something in Unity or Unreal Engine, but I'm open to suggestions.
Thank you in advance for any help!

Hey Watermann17CZE,
I'm not a dev by trade, so I may be missing something obvious but from what I gather, the Immersed App may be of use to you! I have seen multiple users including fellow developers recommend it as a handy tool, allowing them to have multiple floating screens they can interact with.
It's a free app on the Meta Store, so at the very least, there is no harm in trying it!
